What is Reel Lyrics?

Reel Lyrics is a free online lyric video maker. Drop a song, paste the lyrics, pick a look and export a vertical 9:16 video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok, or a 16:9 video for YouTube. Everything runs in your browser: your audio and images never leave your computer until you decide to share the video.

How it works

1. Track — add an MP3 or WAV, and optionally a background image or video.
2. Lyrics — paste SRT subtitles, LRC lyrics or plain lines, then time them by ear with tap sync: press a key or tap a button as each line starts.
3. Style — choose one of 29 fonts and a quick look, then stack text effects: fade, glow, rise, slide, zoom, blur, typewriter, word by word, an iOS-style roulette, previous and next lines, and a beat-reactive audio waveform.
4. Export — render up to 4K at 24, 30 or 60 fps as WebM or MP4, in the background while you keep editing.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. A free account renders and downloads videos with a small watermark and a credit allowance that refills automatically. Paid plans remove the watermark and unlock higher resolutions, video backgrounds and imported fonts.

Which lyric formats are supported?

SRT and LRC are detected automatically. Plain text works too: lines are spread evenly across the track, and the Timing tab lets you set each line to the exact moment it is sung.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Reel Lyrics works in a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on desktop and on mobile.

Where are my files stored?

Audio, images and fonts stay in your browser. Only project settings are saved to your account when you choose to save a project.
